Early voting for the 21 May Federal election began on 9 May, with several pre-polling booths open throughout Casey and the surrounding area.

For residents in Lilydale, St Patrick’s Parish Community Centre in Lilydale and Chirnside Park Community Hub are the closest voting centres, with another voting centre at Crossroads Christian Fellowship in Croydon.

People affected by Covid-19 isolation rules can vote by telephone, thanks to legislation passed in early 2022. Up until the Wednesday before Election Day, Covid-affected Australians can apply for a postal vote. Telephone voting for people with Covid-19 is an emergency measure for the final three days of voting.

Telephone voting registration will be available on weekdays between 8.30am and 5.30pm from Monday 9 May until 20 May.

More information on telephone voting can be found at
