With still a few weeks left of school holidays before kids make a return to school, ideas can be running thin but here’s a list of local events happening across the Yarra Ranges to add to the to do list.
Take part in the free NGV Kids on Tour by visiting the Yarra Ranges Regional Museum, The Memo in Healesville or Arts Centre Warburton.

Celebrate Penguin Awareness Day at Mooroolbark Library on 20 January as the staff host a penguin inspired story time and movie screening of Oddball.
At Montrose Library, children aged nine to 13 can check out the Minecraft coding workshop on Thursday 19 January or create their on comic book on Tuesday 24 January (suitable for ages six to 18).
Design and create your very own bookmark using the newly acquired Cricut machines at Lilydale Library on Wednesday 25 January.
