With less than a week to go until the Warrandyte by-election takes place on Saturday 26 August, district voters are encouraged to organise a time to submit their vote.
So far, 13 per cent of the voting population in the electorate have made use of the early voting facilities, meaning around 6,635 people have decided on who they want to represent them for the remaining term.
A further 19 per cent of the 50,986 eligible voters have chosen a postal vote.
Twelve candidates have nominated as part of the by-election and are listed on the ballot as follows:

Early voting centres continue to operate throughout this week at Warrandyte Scout Hall, 45-55 Yarra Street, Warrandyte and Doncaster Rovers Soccer Club, 117 Anderson Creek Road, Doncaster East, while postal vote applications close at 6 pm this Wednesday 23 August.
Electoral Commissioner Sven Bluemmel reminded Warrandyte residents that voting in this by-election is compulsory for voters on the roll by the close of roll at 8 pm on Thursday 20 July.
“If you’ve got plans for this Saturday, make sure you vote early during the week, or apply for a postal vote by the deadline of 6 pm this Wednesday,” Mr Bluemmel said. “There’s a convenient option for all voters.”
Voters who are blind, have low vision, or have a physical disability and can’t vote without assistance, can vote by telephone on 131 832.

Voters who haven’t voted early or applied for a postal vote will be able to vote at one of the 11 voting centres in the district from 8 am to 6 pm.
