Lilydale residents can tune into the 2022 Australia Day Awards online this year, with the announcement from the Yarra Ranges Council of a live-streamed event to remain Covid-safe for the protection of staff and community members.
This year’s award recipients will be invited to meet with Mayor Jim Child to receive their awards and citation.
The award handover will be filmed by Yarra Ranges Life TV, who will be co-hosting the event with the council.
