Kilsyth grass fire warning issued

The Country Fire Authority (CFA) has issued a grass fire warning for Kilsyth and Kilsyth South.

A fire that saw five vehicles respond, has been brought under control after it was reported at 3.35pm on Wednesday 16 February.

A message released on the Vic Emergency app stated there was a mulch fire on Liverpool Road that was under control but nearby residents may be able to see smoke.

“There is currently no threat to you, but you should stay informed and monitor conditions,” the warning read.
