Erratic driver caught in Kilsyth

An erratic driver has been caught in Kilsyth after a number of reports were made to police concerned for peoples safety.

At about 6pm on Monday 10 January, a 38-year-old male was observed driving spasmodically on Colchester Road.

The man accompanied police for an Evidentiary Breath Test (EBT) and later returned a result of 0.251.

His licence was immediately suspended and he will be charged on summons with a range of drink-driving offences.

In a social media post, Yarra Ranges Eyewatch thanked those who called triple zero.

“Police wish to thank the members of the public who reported the poor driving and awaited police attendance to provide information about the incident,” the post read.
