Maroondah Highway re-opened after earlier collision



The Maroondah Highway, Lilydale has been re-opened to traffic in both directions under the rail bridge, following a serious collision.

Congestion on surrounding local roads is expected to ease quickly.

Buses in the area are resuming regular service.

Transport Victoria thanks motorists and passengers for their patience as emergency services conducted investigations.
