Recycling truck dumps load in Lilydale after fire



The Lilydale CFA were called to a recycling truck fire on Friday morning, 21 November.

A recycling truck operator was required to dump the contents of the truck in the Bellbird Park car park on Swansea Road.

Firefighting crews had to remain on scene for several hours to keep the blaze under control.

A warning was issued to the community at 10.55am via VicEmergency notifying residents and commuters of smoke visibility.
